Content Ignite Unveils Experiment Technology to Optimise Ad Performance for Publishers

Content Ignite, the publisher-first advertising technology and monetisation platform, has announced the launch of its cutting-edge experiment technology, designed to significantly enhance ad performance and revenue for digital publishers. 

This innovative feature allows publishers to effortlessly set up, run, and analyse a variety of ad experiments directly from the Fusion platform, streamlining the process to drive better outcomes and user experience.

The new technology offers unprecedented flexibility, enabling publishers to test various ad configurations, placements, and strategies. With Content Ignite’s bespoke ‘tag configs’, publishers can tailor each ad unit to specific devices and positions, such as in-image or under-image ads, maximising performance across different viewer interfaces.

"Our experiment technology is built to simplify the complexities of A/B testing different ad placements, SSPs and much more," said James Hanslip, chief executive officer, Content Ignite. "By allowing publishers to dynamically test and optimise their ad setups, we are paving the way for more informed decisions that boost revenue and enhance site usability."

Key features of the experiment technology include:

Multi-sized ad placements: Publishers can introduce new ad sizes within existing placements to increase auction competition and revenue.

SSP timeout adjustments: The technology enables publishers to fine-tune SSP timeout settings, reducing latency and optimising fill rates.

Ad unit experimentation: Tests can be run on various ad units like in-image, in-article, adhesion and video ads, determining the most effective configurations.

Geographical targeting: Publishers can trial different ad units across specific geographies, identifying the most responsive markets.

Content Ignite has already implemented this technology with select publishers, leading to substantial improvements in ad performance metrics. The platform is now available to all Content Ignite customers, providing a robust toolset for managing and enhancing ad revenue.
