Illuma’s AI-Powered Contextual Tools Now Available Through Amazon Publisher Services’ Connections Marketplace

Online publishers can now easily activate Illuma’s suite of contextual-AI solutions through Amazon Publisher Services’ (APS) Connections Marketplace, providing access to market-leading content classification and publisher monetisation tools in a few simple steps.

Illuma’s privacy-centric AI technology is used by publishers to analyse contextual performance in real time, and to curate deals and optimise campaigns across inventory. Additionally, its AI-powered content categoriser enables highly accurate placements on publisher pages and taxonomic offerings for context and brand suitability.

The following Illuma tools are now available via APS Connections Marketplace:

- Illuma Reacts™. Allows publishers to expand campaign reach based on live content consumption behaviours. Use cases include audience extension and campaign optimisation towards advertiser KPIs across media channels.

- Illuma Precision™. Categorises content into 700+ highly accurate taxonomies, both IAB and bespoke, using AI and Machine Learning for precision and scale. A granular reading of contexts also helps provide more accurate brand suitability strategies, supporting leading publishers by allowing for more monetisation.

- Illuma Smart Deals™. Selects and curates deals based on real-time engagement across themed inventory, optimising towards campaign KPIs. Smart Deals learns and adjusts on the fly, connecting brands with audiences wherever they are most engaged.

Illuma is a British AI company, whose contextual enterprise solutions are also used by global brands, agencies, and online platforms.

Peter Mason, Illuma CEO and co-founder, said: “Illuma’s AI technology supports publishers by maximising potential revenues, improving the user experience and ultimately, channelling funds back into quality journalism. Thanks to Illuma’s integration with APS, publishers can now access these innovative AI tools quickly, seamlessly and without the work of a full integration.”

Connections Marketplace is a services marketplace where APS publishers can easily connect with vendors across key categories that can help them improve their adstack and user experience. With Illuma now live, APS publishers can deploy Illuma’s tools within their APS account in a few simple steps, without additional development work.

“The launch of Illuma in Connections Marketplace helps our publisher customers meet the needs of the evolving addressability landscape with streamlined access to their products. We are excited to incorporate Illuma into the Connections Marketplace offering of contextual vendors, providing greater optionality for publishers to optimise their inventory monetisation,” said Scott Siegler, director of Amazon publisher services.
