Equativ, the global independent ad tech company, has announced the appointment of Claude Spasevski as senior vice president (SVP) for its data and retail media division. Based in Paris, Claude Spasevski will play a vital role in driving the division’s strategic trajectory, expansion, and efficacy, bringing Equativ’s innovative services to retailers and advertisers.
Claude Spasevski brings over two decades of expertise in media, marketing, and advertising technology, underpinned by a profound understanding of the industry. His career is marked by significant achievements, including the establishment of AdMission, a pioneering semantic targeting firm, and his leadership roles as founder and group CEO of Marnie Digital, and managing director at Sizmek. Following Amazon's acquisition of Sizmek, Claude Spasevski swiftly advanced to lead business development and retail media sales strategies for Amazon Ads and Amazon Web Services. His extensive international leadership experience is set to greatly benefit his new position at Equativ.
Reporting directly to chief strategy officer, Teiffyon Parry, Spasevski’s core responsibilities involve formulating a comprehensive onsite and offsite retail media strategy, leveraging Equativ’s curation solution and CTV offering, and facilitating the integration of retail media solutions into the company’s wider product portfolio — including advanced demand-side, data clean room, and identity graph tools. His main goals are to fuel the growth of retail media, products, and services to increase revenue, as well as build and sustain strong relationships with publishers, retailers, and media agencies.
