Opti Digital, an advertising technology platform that helps media publishers optimise their revenues, has recently announced the appointment of Olly Aulakh as chief revenue officer (CRO). This decision is part of the company's ongoing expansion strategy, following a solid 33% increase in revenues in 2023.
After his appointment, Aulakh expressed his excitement, stating, "I am thrilled to step into the role of CRO at Opti Digital as a new chapter of my career. Olly Aulakh joins with over a decade of experience in the ad tech industry. His appointment marks a turning point in the European ad tech company's expansion into the UK and US markets, where Opti Digital kicked off last year.
Among his various roles, Aulakh served as the COO of StreamAMP, an independent boutique publisher agency notable for being among the first to adopt prebid technologies in the UK. Following this, he assumed the position of UK general manager at Yieldbird, where he successfully introduced and established the brand within this market. Transitioning to consultancy roles, he worked with large practices like Prohaska Consulting, where his expertise as senior consultant client strategy was instrumental in collaborations with major blue-chip publishers worldwide.

Following his engagement with American publishers at the recent Publishing Summit in Vail, CO., Aulakh will mark his debut as Opti Digital’s CRO in London this week at Press Gazette's "Future of Media Trends" event. There, he will co-host round table discussions alongside Opti Digital's CEO.
