This week on The Stack: Disney Teams Up with Google and The Trade Desk to Expand Real-Time Ad Exchange; OpenAI Partners with Publishers; Nvidia Unveils New AI Chip
Several partnerships made this week’s news: Disney will be teaming up with Google’s Display & Video 360 and The Trade Desk to expand its Real-Time Ad Exchange, creating a direct path to advertiser demand. OpenAI announced partnerships with both Spain’s Prisa Media (owner of El País) and France’s Le Monde. Meanwhile, Apple is in talks to build Google’s Gemini Search Engine into the iPhone.
Nvidia unveiled its latest AI chip, the Blackwell B200 GPU. Also relating to AI, Google was fined €250m (£212m) by France’s competition authority over news copyright protections, including the failure to notify news publishers that their content was used to train its generative AI model, Gemini.
