This week: everyone's quids in!
In a week where the UK was plagued by rain (hello, August!), things looked bright for a number of players in ad tech, including Uber, who announced it had turned a profit for the first time in its 14-year history. Streaming giant Roku was also quids in, with the company's shares hitting a one-year high, while Meta reported its ad business was showing signs of recovery.
It wasn't just companies in the black this week, with new research indicating global revenue for OOH advertising will exceed USD$40bn (~£31bn) by the end of the year – looks like everyone's a winner!
