Meta and its Kenya-based content moderation partners are facing fresh legal action in Kenya. Google has temporarily removed e-commerce app Pinduoduo from its Play Store citing security concerns. According to a Google spokesperson, the Play version of the app was found “to contain malware” and had been “enforced on via Google Play Protect”.
Amazon is set to conduct its second biggest wave of job cuts this year. The e-commerce giant will reduce its global workforce by 9,000, with the cuts predominantly impacting its advertising, cloud services, and Twitch livestreaming teams.
