Former Yahoo Director Chris Vincelli Joins Anzu as VP Business Development

Chris Vincelli joins in-game advertising company Anzu.io as the new VP business development. Vincelli will be working alongside Anzu’s newly-appointed EVP business development and in-game advertising veteran Guy Ben-dov

Vincelli has been establishing premium publisher partnerships within global companies for the past 11 years. Starting his career with Millennial Media, Vincelli secured new alliances with the top US gaming publishers while managing some of the company's most strategic publisher relationships. In 2015, Vincelli moved to Vungle to manage top US gaming publishers and learn performance marketing from some of the top minds in the industry.

Before his move to Anzu, Vincelli most recently started at Yahoo as director of global partnerships, securing strategic partnerships with top global publishers focused around monetisation, UA, and identity.

Vincelli said: “I knew Anzu was the right fit after meeting the team. Anzu's strong focus, passion, and thoughtfulness for players, advertisers, and publishers placed them at the forefront of the rapidly growing in-game advertising ecosystem.”

“As VP of business development, my focus will be building and maintaining strategic partnerships with top gaming publishers across platforms. Anzu's existing partnerships, incredible demand team, and powerful tech will be critical to providing extreme value to our gaming partners.”

Vincelli joins Anzu at a pivotal moment in the company’s development. Global big-hitters including NBCUniversal and HTC have joined Anzu’s in-game advertising mission along with Sony Innovation Fund and WPP, closing the latest funding round with USD$20m (£15.4m) of investment, and becoming the first advertising platform to join Unity’s Verified Solutions Partner Program. Anzu’s strong ties with both global brands and prominent game publishers have brought strategic partners on board, paving the way for even more game studios to benefit from blended in-game ad monetisation.
