InfoSum Appoints Lauren Wetzel to Lead North America, Manage Global Strategy and Operations

InfoSum, the world’s leading provider of decentralised marketing infrastructure, today announces the appointment of Lauren Wetzel as president of North America, Global Strategy and Operations.
InfoSum is the world’s first decentralised marketing infrastructure that enables companies of every size and industry to collaborate across first and second-party data sets, without ever moving data between parties. Powered by this privacy-first solution, leading broadcasters, brands and enterprise companies are working seamlessly on first-party marketing programmes that deliver a superior experience for consumers, and that preserve data privacy at every step.
In her new role, Lauren will not only drive expansion in the North American market, but also lead InfoSum’s global strategy and operations, with an eye on evolving the company’s infrastructure and developing its product for other sectors.
Nick Halstead, CEO and founder of InfoSum said, “I’m delighted to welcome Lauren to InfoSum’s leadership team. With her experience of developing strategies that promote rapid growth, she will play a pivotal role as we increase our presence in North America. We will also greatly benefit from her experience and knowledge as we evolve as a company, and she’ll be invaluable in the development of our longer-term global business strategies.”
Lauren previously worked at Xandr, as SVP, Strategy and Corporate Development. She was a key player in the formation of AT&T’s advertising business unit; hiring and scaling its business strategy team, helping to oversee the acquisitions and integrations of AppNexus and Clypd, and spearheading the development of Xandr’s NYC headquarters.
Prior to AT&T, she was in Deloitte’s Consulting practice, specialising in helping global media, technology, and telecommunications companies develop new strategies as well as transform and scale existing businesses.
Speaking about her new role, Lauren Wetzel said: “InfoSum is the future of privacy-first, consumer-trusted data enablement. Through my career, I have been tasked with identifying and growing market-moving companies. I have never been more impressed with a company's capabilities and incredible team, as I have been with InfoSum. I look forward to partnering with Nick and the team as we help transform not only the marketing industry, with privacy-safe data collaboration practices, but also the many untapped industries that need this technology today.
“I am incredibly excited to join such an innovative company. I look forward to leading North America and our global strategy and operations efforts, helping to expand and enhance infrastructure and culture within the company.”
