In case you didn’t see this: Cap Gemini’s recent report on the French online advertising market shows a fall in display advertising from 510 million euro to 480 million euro in 2009, a total decrease of 6% year-on-year. The report also indicates that display is still lagging behind search spend, which rose by 10% in 2009 to 880 million euro. Cap Gemini says the decrease in display spending was the result of marketers looking for better performing mediums. See the chart for more details.
